In the Bay Area, there are always days where it’s super sunny out, but still chilly as hell. Moments like these usually occur during the spring or fall season. On days like these, I usually like to wear a dense sweater (undershirts are optional) with jeans (in this case, distressed jeans offer some breeze to the legs–what a nice cooling effect). This way, you can stay warm and not look out of place.

I’m finally back with an outfit post! I decided to go a little neutral today and paired my cream color shirt from J Crew with my simple cream and black skirt from Express. I also wore my nude colored, bow tie heels (aren’t they cute?!) to pull the neutral look all together. I also kept my accessories very simple and relatively plain. But to bring a pop of color to the whole look, I wore a bright red lipstick. I think it really adds dimension to the outfit and brings life to my face, as the neutral colors have a tendency to wash out my complexion. Continue reading Going Neutral
I have a really fun, pink party-appropriate outfit to share with you guys today :D. This would be a cute look for a holiday party, fancy dinner party, or even a company event. If pink is too bright or cutesy of a color for you, you can definitely pair this dress with another colored blazer (but perhaps not a black one, since it’d just blend with the black dress). The pink blazer that I have is quite large and oversized. I’m wearing it as an alternative for a jacket. Continue reading Party in Pink
Are you guys ready for the weekend? I sure am. In my last post, I had posted an outfit with a black and white color scheme, appropriate for work or professional setting. Well, I thought I’d create an outfit with a black and white color scheme that’s fitting for the weekend! Something fun and cute for a day out, whether that’s having brunch with friends, going on a date, or just shopping by yourself. Continue reading Black and White Cute

I find the classic black and white pairing is so chic and sophisticated. You would be dressed up enough for work, but casual enough to stay comfortable throughout the day :). Sorry it’s been awhile since the last post! It’s been a busy past few weeks for me, so I’m super excited that the weekend is approaching, mostly because there’s going to be a ramen yokocho festival in Japan town in San Francisco this weekend! It’s there for both Saturday and Sunday and there’s going to be 6 different ramen shops featuring different types of ramen, from tonkotsu ramen to ramen burgers! Admissions is free and each bowl of ramen is $8 :) Continue reading Summer Pastels
